Dave Matthews Band is on pace to score their seventh straight number-one album on the Billboard 200 thanks to the group’s latest disc, Come Tomorrow. The ninth studio effort from Dave and company is set to debut atop the chart with an estimated 250,000 equivalent album units.
That figure, if it holds true, would be the best week for a rock album since Metallica‘s Hardwired…to Self-Destruct debuted at number one with 291,000 units for the chart dated December 10, 2016.
Prior to Come Tomorrow, every DMB studio album since 1998’s Before These Crowded Streets has debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.
Dave Matthews Band is currently touring North America behind Come Tomorrow.
